One of the things in the home inspection industry that still baffles me in the Lyons area of Georgia, is why we don't do the home inspection FIRST in a transaction? We go through all of this trouble to buy a home, and then all of a sudden we have a home inspector come in, do a thorough home inspection and everything goes backwards - negotiations, mortgage, contracts, close date, etc. The buyers are surprised (as well as the sellers), the agents do their best to bring things back together, and the mortgagor starts taking a more critical look at things.
In the end, if you are selling your home in Lyons GA, consider getting a qualified home inspector to do a pre-listing home inspection to help catch some of these issues before they become trouble for you down the road.
